Unless you live under a rock, you know that we’ve been dealing with an absurd amount of rain.
The Lake Ontario coastline is actually eroding away, with the water breaching the sea wall of Fort Niagara.
In the Niagara Falls, in my First World Problems, my basement is slowly, painfully flooding.
There’s some cracks. The water is coming through the cracks.
I can try to keep up with my shopvac, and I’m doing a pretty good job. There’s still rain continuing through Saturday, so this should be fun.
In the grand scheme of things, I’m a heck of a lot luckier that those poor souls on the Lake Ontario coastline. There’s not much left of Olcott right now.
So until this rain stops, I’ll be in the basement with my trust shopvac.
