It’s been a while since I’ve dropped one of my finds.

Here’s one preferred stock for the Buffalo, Niagara and Eastern Power Corporation.

What I find so interesting about this are the dates. It was issued in 1928, which you history buffs know is a year before the stock market crash that led to the Great Depression. It was cashed in 1931, so that pretty much tells you the story.

It’s things like this that I like to put on this site. Sometimes people might be looking for something weird like this, and bam! Now you have it.
