Hey flock! You know how much I love breakfast in Niagara Falls, so when I heard there was a new breakfast place on the Boulevard, I had to check them out.

The Country Hen just opened in the former Goose’s Roost spot next to the Niagara Falls Airport, and they already seem to be a go-to place for locals.

Specializing in breakfast and lunch, The Country Hen has that family-run feel that makes a great place here in Niagara. I decided to order the “Hungry Rooster”, which includes two eggs, two pancakes, sausage & bacon.

First off: look at the size of their breakfast sausage! They’re easily the biggest in Niagara, and were honestly the highlight of my meal. Their pancakes were super fluffy as well, which frequent friends of the blog will know is a critical component of my breakfast cravings.

The staff were all very friendly and attentive, which was awesome considering we showed up in the middle of their midday rush. Their prices are great as well, with the “Hungry Rooster” being only $10.99!
