If you’re looking for something to do while in Niagara Falls, USA, The Aquarium of Niagara is the answer.

Founded in 1965, the Aquarium of Niagara is a staple of tourists and residents alike.

You know the artificial saltwater used in inland aquariums? You can thank the Aquarium of Niagara for that!

The Aquarium’s Humboldt Penguin exhibit is currently going through a spectacular makeover, and they’re always happy to take donations for improvements.

Of course, most people go to the aquarium to see the sea lion shows. These shows are spectacular: all of these seals are rescues, and the Aquarium of Niagara mixes important environmental messages with spectacular stunts.

Another favorite is the outside Harbor Seal pool. One seal, Sandy, has been in the Aquarium since the 80s! Now that’s incredible.

If you’re interested in visiting the Aquarium of Niagara, it’s located on 701 Whirlpool St. in Niagara Falls, NY. Admission is $13 for adults, and $9 for kids under 12. The Aquarium of Niagara is open year-round. Sunday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday-Saturday 9am-7pm.
