The Niagara County IDA is giving DiCienzo’s waterpark along the Sheraton a ridiculous deal.

If all goes through, the waterpark would get a sales tax exemption on building materials, and 12 years exemption of property tax.

12 years.

That’s crazy.

On the other hand, a waterpark would seriously boost tourism, so surrounding businesses would see a boost.

Hey, I’ll take a waterpark at this point (just not a Niagara Splash USA).
