With Easter a distant memory, I’ve decided to review Reese’s new clusters.
A Reese’s cluster is a Reese’s cup’s pretentious cousin. The cluster consists of peanut butter, caramel, peanuts and pecans coated in milk chocolate.
If you’ve ever had a Turtle, then you basically know what a Reese’s Cluster is.
The Reese’s Cluster is decent. The creamy peanut butter does overpower the caramel, having me wonder why they even added caramel (I suppose it was to prevent peanut butter mouth: something that still happens with these clusters).
It’s also very hard to tell the peanuts from the pecans other than texture. The classic Hershey chocolate flavor does stay in your mouth for a long time.
All in all, if you’re looking for a more complex way to enjoy a Reese’s cup, or you want to have a really overloaded version of a Turtle, then a Reese’s Cluster is right up your alley.
