Flock, this is not good.

Columbus Square Park on Pine Avenue is in jeopardy of foreclosure.

Due to an unpaid water bill by someone who apparently didn’t have rights to the land, the people who run the park now, Pine Avenue Redevelopment Project, inc., were left completely blindsided.

There is now a GoFundMe to help raise the $3,000 required to pay the fines. If they are not paid, the park gets foreclosed, and goes up for auction.

PARP just put a ton of money in sprucing up the park, and to lose it like this would be a blow to everything that everyone is doing to revitalize Pine Avenue.

If you have money to spare, this is a good cause.
