It may be St. Patrick’s Day, but we all know the real celebration is the Cataract City’s birthday!

On this day in 1892, Niagara Falls was officially incorporated as a city. This was intentional, as the Irish-Americans in the city wanted Niagara Falls to be a St. Paddy’s Day baby.
