Never Ending Pasta Bowl is back once again at Olive Garden, which means it’s time to test out their newest sauce.
Last years hit sauce was the Creamy Mushroom: a lovely cream sauce that will have you thinking you died and went to mushroom heaven.
This year’s addition to the menu is another cream sauce in the form of everyone’s favorite party dip: spinach and artichoke.
Olive Garden’s creamy spinach and artichoke sauce is a distinct Alfredo-style entry onto their menu. If you are a fan of heavy sauces, you will certainly enjoy this. Ultra rich, this sauce has distinct notes of garlic, as well as a spicy kick that gives it a nice edge.
This sauce does not skimp on the spinach or artichoke, making this one of the heartier sauces on the Never Ending Pasta Bowl menu. I had it with angel hair, but it would probably be best with a thicker pasta.
I still believe that the Creamy Mushroom sauce is the best sauce on the Never Ending Pasta Bowl menu, but that sauce is definitively mushroom. If you’re in the mood for a cream sauce, but aren’t a fan of mushrooms, I would give the Creamy Spinach and Artichoke sauce a try. Bonus: it is the best breadstick dipping sauce.
