Flock, it took me way to long to get over to Rock Burger.
I’ve been meaning to try one of their Frankensteinesque creations ever since they opened their first restaurant on Niagara Street (inside Player’s Bar). I definitely remembered to put it on my to-do list when they opened their second location on Niagara Falls Boulevard.
It took a lazy Wednesday with my friend to finally get check this item off the list, and it was totally worth it.
While the new location at 8529 Niagara Falls Blvd has a much-larger menu, I still decided to go to the original on Niagara Street (I was feeling downtown that day).
The limited menu is still insane, with some amazing “Rock Concoctions” listed. Many of them are named after Niagara Falls landmarks (including one just named “The Tourist”.
Then, one caught my eye: The Fuhgetaboutit.
This burger, no…this legend is a half-pound burger stuffed with a chicken cutlet, with Parmesan cheese, Mozzarella cheese, sauce, more Mozzerella, and a sprinkle of Parm on top of the brioche bun. It legitimately sounds like Little Italy Pine Avenue shoved into a burger.

But, as my Italian foodie sheep rump would determine: is it actually any good?
It is the best burger I have ever had in my entire life.

I got it hot off the grill (and it was hot off the grill). The meat was spectacular: the beef moist and the chicken flawless. If they made a burger at Ellis Island, this would be it. I cannot exaggerate here: this was incredible.
I will definitely have to make another trip to Rock Burger to try out some of their other options, and you know you’ll be hearing from me when I do.
