Flock, you already knew this was coming.
It’s Never Ending Pasta Bowl at Olive Garden, and you know how much I love Never Ending Pasta.
This year, we’re taking a look at their newest sauce creation: Creamy Roasted Garlic.
Unfortunately for its fans, last year’s Spinach and Artichoke did not make the cut on this year’s menu. However, the G.O.A.T. Creamy Mushroom Sauce is obviously still on the menu. You know I’m biased toward the mushroom sauce. I will literally compare everything to that sauce. It is my personal benchmark for good pasta sauces.
So, how does the new Creamy Roasted Garlic Sauce do?
The sauce is surprisingly light for a cream sauce. Unlike the Creamy Mushroom, which is dense with cheese, Creamy Roasted Garlic is much lighter. The garlic flavor works well in the sauce, without it being offensively garlicky. I had it on top of Cavatappi: I would probably recommend something with more length, as the sauce didn’t fully adhere. Still, the flavor profile of the sauce really was enjoyable. If you’re looking for a lighter alfredo with a lot of flavor, this is definitely your pick.
