Street Cafe & Halal Foods Review

Hey flock: long time no see!

I’m sorry that this blog has been so quiet lately, but I’ve been doing a lot of work in the Niagara Falls area (your sheep is finally a business professional!)

Since I’m constantly running around downtown Niagara Falls, I’m always looking for a great grab-and-go lunch. That’s why I was excited when I learned a new restaurant just opened on Niagara Street!

Street Cafe specializes in Mediterranean and Halal foods. Their takeout-friendly menu features gyro, falafel, shish kebab, tandoori, and even burgers and fries for that one friend who has to order nothing but cheese fries everywhere you go.

I swung by to grab a Tikka Kebab over rice, and it did *not* disappoint.

Flock, this was *amazing*! The spicy sauce combined with the Tikka and bed of basmati and lettuce was the perfect lunch. The owner is very friendly, and I can assure you that I’m going to be dragging some coworkers, friends, and possibly random strangers here just to try them out.

If you’re on Niagara Street (especially if you’re at the Casino), pop over to Street Cafe. You *might* end up with spicy sauce dripping down your arm, but it’ll be worth it.

Street Cafe is located at 526 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, New York.

Thanks again for following my blog. This has been a labor of love for my city for over nine years now, and I’m hoping to keep sharing my favorite spots.
