Who will like it: people who like music. Your average family film goer.
Sing is exactly what you would expect it to be. Without giving too much away, a koala that owns a theatre (Matthew McConaughey) tries to raise money through a singing competition, and hilarity ensues.
Sitting here, I really don’t know how to sell this film. It’s exactly what you would expect it to be. It’s a solid film, but nothing is groundbreaking about it. The characters are funny, but not super memorable. It is what it is.
Should you see it? Yeah, definitely. The singing is really, really good, but don’t expect a wonderful plot.
Of course, I gave Shaun the Sheep a 4 (which I have since downgraded to a 3.5 after realizing my scoring system is terrible) so take my review with a grain of salt.
