A few months ago, there was a flurry of news about a soup kitchen being put on Pine Avenue. Specifically, there was news that Carmine’s restaurant was being moved when its lease would end.

Seriously, everyone, myself included, had an opinion on this story.

Then there was silence.

I’ve heard nothing about this story since it broke. It’s remained…awkwardly quiet on the Pine Avenue front?

Based on what I’ve heard (which is a bunch of unsubstantiated/hearsay) it’s going to happen. It appears (DO NOT QUOTE ME ON ANY OF THIS: I’M SHOOTING IN THE DARK HERE) that Carmine will probably move the restaurant. It doesn’t look like there’s much of a fight at this point.
