Jeni’s Pies review: Naples Grape Festival

Pouty face time, flock: today is the last grape pie review from the Naples Grape Festival.

Luckily, I’m leaving you off with the pie. The pie that carries with it the title of “World’s Greatest Grape Pie.” Is it really the world’s greatest grape pie? Let’s find out as we take a look a Jeni’s pies.

Jeni's grape pie. Naples, NY.

Jeni’s Pies is a staple item at the Naples Grape Festival. The pie won the pie contest (at least) three years in a row back in the day.

If you’re a fan of tart pie, I’m sorry to disappoint you. This is a sweet pie. The crust is sugar-topped! The filling is sweet, but retains its grapey flavor. It’s the pinnacle of grape. While the other pies I tried were pies in every sense of the word, Jeni’s drives right into dessert category. if you have a sweet tooth, and like grapes, this is your pie.

Jeni’s Grape Pie:
-Sweet
-Grapey
-Good

Jeni’s Pies is located in Naples, NY, and obviously has a well-maintained Facebook page for your pie needs.

Well, that about does it for the Naples Grape Festival. Have you already picked out your favorite pie? Let us know in the comments!

I have been buying Jeni’s pies for years. A few days ago,I bought Jani’s grape pie. It has gone down hill. There was a thin veneer of grape filling, only to be made up with an over dose of sprinkled sugar on top. I will never buy her pies again. Shrink-flation doesn’t work when the pie is $20
