Hey flock!
I’m writing this well past my bedtime, so that’s fun.
So, I’ve always had trouble keeping consistent feature-posts running on the blog. The average post on this site takes between 30 minutes to an hour to write, and that’s after all the research and materials have been gathered.
Many of my features are pre-written quite a bit in advance. Of course, my posting calendar for April is a bit empty right now. It takes time to make good feature, and I’m a bit preoccupied with life at the moment.
This doesn’t mean there’s going to be a content standstill: there’s just going to probably be fewer features this month.
So, I thought it was time to introduce The Sheepie Journal. These are the text posts I’m using to fill the features. Most of them will be current, and probably talk about either something going on, or something in the news.
These posts also save me on photo storage (I’m going to be using the image above for every one of these posts). Photos have often been trouble for me when writing pieces: I often have good ideas, but lack the photos to accompany it.
I hope you all enjoy this new addition to the blog. The goal is to have daily content, and The Sheepie Journal is going to help a lot with that.
