The beauty of the gorge in autumn

Flock, you know how I love my cameras.

I was at my usual perch in the Power Vista last week, and felt it was the perfect day to snap some pics of the Niagara Gorge.

If you aren’t familiar with the beauty of the Niagara Gorge throughout the seasons, you’re really missing out. I’ve covered the gorge before, and even focusing on the power station our neighbors to the north (and west…and south) use.

I also snapped some pics of Niagara University, which I usually only cover when it’s encased in ice.

It’s easy to forget how spectacular the area we live in is until you take a step back from everything. The views really are something to behold.

Do you have a favorite fall spot? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below.

The gorge is amazingly beautiful in all four seasons. Plus the stairs at Devils Hole State Park just reopened, earlier than expected. So now both Whirlpool and Devils Hole have newly reconstructed stairs, so we can more safely enjoy the natural wonder in our own back yard.
